Image processing

Image bytes are decoded and processed in your browser. PixelProof has no image upload endpoint and does not send image bytes to its licensing Worker. The app downloads its own code and, when background removal is first used, model files from the listed model hosts. Those downloads are not uploads of your image.

Payments and licence validation

Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments. PixelProof sends the selected tier to its checkout Worker. Licence validation sends a licence key to that Worker, which validates it with Dodo. The licence path does not receive filenames, image bytes, dimensions, recipes, tools, or processing results. Dodo and payment providers receive the customer and payment information required to complete a purchase.

Stored on your browser

Completed output bytes are kept in IndexedDB for up to 24 hours so an interrupted job can be recovered. Settings, recipes, profiles, presets, task count, licence state, licence key, and licence revalidation timestamp are stored in localStorage. Background-removal models may remain in Cache Storage until you clear them. Open How it works in the workbench to inspect sizes and clear recovered outputs, models, settings, or licence data.
